Bulging in Solid Walls – Lateral Restraints
It may be that you have bulging or bowing walls. This is most common in older properties pre 1900s.
If these symptoms are caught in time effective long term repairs can be made before costly rebuilding or even collapse occurs.
Lateral restraint wall ties
These ties are designed to fix the masonry to joists on the property, giving structural stability and avoided further movement. The tie is fixed into the wood Mac maniacally and then resin bonded into the masonry. It is necessary to check and identify these joists always making sure no wires of pipes are present.

Helical Spiral Ties
Perfect for use with multiple layers of brickwork in a solid wall.
Another fantastic product for the repair and reinforcement of solid walls that have bulges are the spiral ties. They can go through multiple layers of masonry, wether it be brick or stone and without the need more resin or grout.
The stainless steel spiral rods corkscrew into the masonry when driven in to a pilot hole smaller than the diameter of the rod.
Brick Arches & coping stone reinforcement
These helical rods are also an effective reinforcement for brick arches or for tying in coping stones to a parapet wall.
